I AM A MARKETING STRATEGIST, DIGITAL DESIGNER,
AND CREATOR BASED IN LOS ANGELES.
Tezza’s carefully curated—like a magazine—Instagram account has been a huge inspiration for my creative life. I continuously look to Tezza for trends in everything from clothing to color. "The Art of Life" philosophy has completely redefined the way I see creativity and helped me gain the confidence to think outside of the box in my designs and personal photos. From purchasing the Tezza Lightroom presets in 2018 to passing every photo I post on Instagram through the Tezza App, I find that the Tezza aesthetic has been a part of my work for years. Not to mention, a part of my room decor with the Coastal Collage Kit!
I grew up with a self-employed musician and dance therapist for parents, which no doubt fostered my innate need for creativity and entrepreneurship. When I was 10, I once created an infomercial for a fake product and sold a DVD copy to every household in the neighborhood—you could say I had a knack for marketing from a young age. Fast forward to the fall of 2017, when I added a new “hat” to my repertoire—my Redbubble store. Since creating my page, I have sold over 7.5K stickers and received almost 12K favorites. After advancing my design skills on Redbubble, I have supported local businesses with freelance work in logo design, social media, and a variety of other print and digital work.
During my time as the Marketing Specialist at Evite, the digital invitation company, I managed seasonal marketing campaigns from concept inception to final analysis. I was able to work closely with the Design and Marketing teams to build content for social media, blog posts, and email. In addition, I managed Evite’s influencer program and I have experience creating and overseeing content creation timelines for various forms of media including video, print, and static images. In addition to coordinating team projects, as Evite’s PR facing “Celebration Expert,” I have had the opportunity to put together my own DIYs and blog posts to be featured in various media publications such as USA Today.
I am currently the Marketing Operations Specialist at DocMagic, a mortgage technology company. I manage paid Google Search, Display, Facebook, and LinkedIn campaigns. In addition, I have worked to create a long term automated email strategy to gain new clients and keep current and potential customers engaged. I am responsible for creating and analyzing dashboards and metrics to gauge performance across our paid marketing efforts.
I was immediately excited by the job posting for Tezza's Head of Marketing.
My previous marketing experience managing campaigns and developing strategy for email, influencers, and social media would allow me to bring a technical background to the creative world of Tezza. As a certified content marketer, I understand risks are necessary and any marketing strategy takes thinking outside the box. I am an expert at multitasking and thrive in a fast paced, creative, and initiative-driven environment. I’m very ready to get my hands dirty, and I truly believe that this role is a perfect match.
